Date(s) - Saturday 24/03/2018
2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Bramblebrook Community Centre
This is the launch of our first zine! (mini magazine… by over 20 grassroots groups in Derby…)
Come down and meet some of the groups involved, get ideas for volunteering, help plan future zines, and have an inspiring afternoon!
We’ll have a raffle (donations welcome!), some food and drink, an open mic and Q&A.
If you’d like to get involved in anyway, are interested in a stall, performing or helping out at all then please get in touch. The zine will be distributed all around Derby, helping to raise awareness about the incredible work health & wellbeing, social justice, animal rights & environmental groups are doing in Derby.
We’ll be raising money towards the printing costs, and you’ll be able to pick up a fresh copy of Derby People’s Diary’s first ever zine!
Stalls and info confirmed so far: Derbyshire Refugee Solidarity, In2 Community Radio, International Women’s Day, Amnesty International, Derby Peace Week, Derby Stand Up to Racism, and Praxis Probiotics.
The Bramblebrook Community Centre is at the top of the park on Stockbrook Road.
