Save the date. Maybe you haven’t been involved up til now, or maybe you have and just need a boost. Either way come along and get some inspiration!

This is an important opportunity to clarify your thoughts and intentions in the last 12 days running up to the general election on December 12th.

It’s also a chance to pick up some new ideas and skills to make the best use of the time we have.

This event is designed to help us do our best to help shift the zeitgeist to make a ‘handbrake turn’ on the deadly and depressing path we are currently on in terms of inequality, discrimination, climate change etc….

We may add to the facebook event description in the coming days, but we know for sure we will have at this event:

– small group sessions for people to share ideas and experience of various types of activities useful for campaigning, including: telling personal stories, knowing the party policies, social media, doorknocking, phonebanking, difficult conversations…

– practise at having conversations around the election that use open questions and empathetic listening to allow people to reflect on their own views (inspired by Hope not Hate training)

– an opportunity for people to make short videos for social media focusing on why they are voting and who for

We really hope you can make it. Please tell your friends.

PS we’ll also be delivering flyers door to door for this event on Thu 21st 5-7pm from Bramblebrook Community centre, Sunday 24th afternoon (time tbc, around West End Community Centre), and Fri 29th (time tbc, around Bramblebrook Community centre) so please respond if you can help and say what time works for you:
