NB the weekday shows are 5.30-6pm, (not til 7 as it said in our June newsletter!)

Over the week, DJ Su-Ki will chart the dangerous and difficult journey refugees take when leaving their homeland. All her guest speakers are either refugees living in Derbyshire, or local people who are supporting them either here or further afield.

Throughout the week Brendon Woodhouse, a local firefighter, will talk about his inspiring voluntary work with ‘Seawatch’, a German voluntary organisation that rescues refugees from drowning in the Mediterranean.

Shows from 5.30pm Mon-Fri and from midday on Sat-Sun.

Mon – a poem and a short story
Tue – volunteering in France
Wed – refugee support in Derby
Thu – Derbyshire Refugee Solidarity centre
Fri – Syrian resettlement
Sat – unaccompanied child asylum seekers, plus the role of music
Sun – Omnibus playback of all the voices!

See the poster for more details of each show!

For now, instead of a map, you can see the full address of an event by clicking on the Location. Google Maps will no longer allow us to show a map without being connected to them in mindboggling ways so we're considering other options....
