The Cinema Of Charles Dickens
Join us as we explore the work of Charles Dickens as depicted on cinema screens. From the earliest known adaptation entitled The Death Of Poor Joe released in March 1901 to Armando Iannucci’s The Personal History Of David Copperfield (currently gracing cinema screens), Dickens and cinema have been arm in arm from the very start.
