The Volunteering Fair will take place on Thursday 17th October in the Atrium at Kedleston Road, 12.00 – 3.00pm. This event is open to the public.

We will be joined by over 60 charities and not-for-profit organisations, all here to talk to you about getting involved to make a difference in the community. Charities include British Red Cross, Derbyshire Wildlife Trust, Macmillan, Citizens Advice, Derby Museums, National Trust and many more, all with exciting roles for you.

Benefits of attending the Volunteering Fair

– Find out more about what voluntary services do
– Access current volunteering opportunities
– Network with voluntary organisations to make useful contacts
– Network with other students interested in volunteering

Volunteering gives you the skills and experience employers are looking for and gives you the opportunity to make a difference! If you’re looking for a job or want to do something with your spare time, this is a brilliant way of finding out about lots of charities and roles in one place. Volunteering is also fun and a great way of meeting new people so come along to the fair to find out more.
