Navid has long been at the centre of Iranian revolutionary politics, which he is now obliged to continue from exile. His knowledge of imperialism and war – and particularly in the Middle East – is held in high respect worldwide.
The world is wracked by war in the service of western imperialism. What is the purpose and effects of these wars on the States and nations under attack, and on the millions of people killed, maimed, injured, separated, uprooted and forced to claim refugee status or become migrants in search of peace and stability for themselves and their families? What can be done?
We are expecting more people than our normal 20 or so, so this session will not be at our usual venue, but at
Shaheed Bhagat Singh Centre, 191 Upper Dale Road, Derby DE23 8BS
There is free parking in neighbouring side streets. We can offer lifts from Derby Rail station if needed
Hope to see you there!
