Friday 5th June is World Environment Day, and XR Derby will be celebrating this with an unmissable live-streamed gig from 8.30pm onwards!
Local acts will be kindly donating their time and talent to help raise money for the organisation.

***If you can afford it, your donation via https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/xrderby2020 will be greatly appreciated.***

Our amazing lineup on the night will be sharp & topical proto-punk duo SHEARglass, multi-talented Leigh Hornsby (lead singer and songwriter for Talking With Ghosts), renowned local duo The Ferretts and singer-songwriter Maggie Braley, with a guest slot from talented young guitarist Simon Hall.
Put the date in your diary now!

(Approximate!) timings:
8.35pm Simon Hall – be punctual, or miss this rising talent!
8.50pm The Ferretts
9.20pm Maggie Braley
9.50pm Leigh Hornsby
10.20pm SHEARglass

So how do I watch it?

To attend the gig, please come to the Facebook event page, https://www.facebook.com/events/668228933993185/ and the artists will livestream their sets to the “discussion” part of the events page. As each artist finishes, you will need to refresh your screen to see the next set magically appear! See below for details of our parallel Zoom event…

But I’m not on Facebook!

No worries, we have a cunning plan. Web links will be posted LIVE to both the XR Derby website (https://rebellionderby.earth/events/xr-derby-benefit-gig) and to the parallel Zoom event which will be running HERE

Meeting ID: 914 0327 5034

giving us not only the chance to share links to the live music as it happens, but also to get that gig-audience feeling as we chat amongst ourselves and maybe do a bit of dancing!

I may need some help!

XR Derby aims to be an inclusive organisation. We do our best, although we are very far from perfect still! If you have accessibility needs – eg require sign language interpreter, tech support etc, please contact us. hello@rebellionderby.earth

For now, instead of a map, you can see the full address of an event by clicking on the Location. Google Maps will no longer allow us to show a map without being connected to them in mindboggling ways so we're considering other options....
